Lo Studio

Wall Up Studio is a recording studio in Florence created to support music projects, audio productions, dubbing, podcasts, and professional audio streaming sessions. It is a professional yet informal space, designed to work on sound with care, attention to detail, and creative freedom.

Here, every project begins with listening. Whether it’s a song, a voice recording, a podcast, an audiobook, or a more complex production, each has different needs, but the goal remains the same: to achieve a natural, polished result that stays true to the original vision.

Gear

The heart of Wall Up Studio is an audio chain built to ensure maximum quality. We work on professional platforms such as Pro Tools and Logic Pro, using Neumann U87, AKG 414, and Schoeps microphones, paired with boutique preamps by Neve, API, and Millennia.

These technologies make it possible to achieve a natural, deep, and dynamic sound, suitable for both music productions and spoken-word content. From vocals to acoustic instruments, every recording is carefully crafted to highlight the character of the sound source.

Who is Paolo?

Behind Wall Up Studio, there’s me Paolo Baglioni. I take care of everything: I welcome you, prepare the studio, follow the recordings, and refine the sound down to the smallest detail. Wall Up is my workspace, but also a place where I like to make people feel comfortable, building an atmosphere of trust and collaboration.

My background is as a percussionist and drummer, with extensive experience on stage and in the studio alongside artists such as Bandabardò, Piero Pelù, Daniele Silvestri, Max Gazzè, Carmen Consoli, Biagio Antonacci, Gianni Morandi, Negrita, Edoardo Bennato, and many others.

Since 2010, I have focused primarily on recording and production, founding my own studio in Florence. Here, I work on a wide range of projects, including singer-songwriter recordings, music productions, dubbing, voiceovers, audiobooks, and film soundtracks such as L’Universale, Tatanka, Babylon Sisters e La mia mamma suona il rock.

Today, I continue to work with the same curiosity and passion as always, searching each time for the right sound to tell a story.
